Midnight indigo silk-cotton carrying shibori resist circles and scattered bandhani dots in ivory two ancient resist traditions on one extraordinary ground. The silk warp holds the indigo with a depth and luminosity that flat cotton cannot achieve, the colour shifting between midnight and cerulean as the fabric moves. The pallav transitions into a shibori stripe, the woven antique gold chevron zari selvedge the single note of warmth against all that blue.
