A midnight indigo Kota Doria body carries a bold large-scale Ajrakh star medallion — six-pointed geometric stars in deep crimson and sky teal interlocking across the sheer khat weave. The characteristic translucency of Kota Doria makes the dense print appear to float, the indigo ground glowing through like a lit window. The border shifts to a scrolling leaf vine in crimson on ivory, finished with a plain navy hem and a fine antique silver zari selvedge.
A sari that looks like a Persian carpet dreamed it could fly.
